The Casita

 ​The Casita is a perfect place to stay if you are traveling alone or with someone you like to snuggle with. It is a one room studio on the property. It has a kitchen with a 4 burner stove and oven, a full sized fridge, a bathroom with a shower, and a full-sized bed. It has a shaded porch area, a hammock, and a barbeque pit if you get ambitious.  New high-speed wireless internet complimentary.

Given the reduced price, the Casita is a great option if you want the ideal location near the beach in Playa Pelada, without the cost of a hotel or full house rental. It is similar to a stand-alone hotel room with a kitchenette. 

  The studio has a queen bed that is nicely partitioned from the main area by natural wood cabinetry. The open floor plan includes a full kitchen and dining area. The kitchen includes a 4-burner stove, oven, polished concrete counters and kitchen supplies. A separate bathroom has a large, tiled, shower area. A spacious, secure, walk-in closet provides ample storage for clothes, luggage, extras, and valuables. 

 The whole property is lushly landscaped with bougainvilla, ginger, palms, banana, coleus, and other native plants. The back of the studio is situated next to a biological reserve which makes for great wildlife viewing!  

 You can rest easy at the Double I, knowing that yourself and your valuables are safe. There is a floodlight near the front of the house, which illuminates all activity. There is a secure front gate. All doors and windows have been protected with tasteful bars. And all doors have both wooden doors and bars, both of which are double locked. 

We have a variety of equipment to rent to help you have more fun on your trip. We have 6 surfboards of various sizes for beginners and experienced alike. We have boogie boards for playing at the nearby beaches. There are a pair of surf fishing rods and lures, as well as bikes for exploring the area. Ask about rates when you email us.
